thijs verbeek is an amsterdam based graphic designer with a solid portfolio of work that includes what must be the most painful typeface ever designed. the 26 characters are each illustrated by pinching and pulling skin with the help of small clothespins. the letters in the series 'alfabet in huid' were then documented by photgrapher arjan bening.
